Dynamic analysis is a service for the construction industry. MAURER specialists study the behaviour of a structural element or structure under normal and maximum loads. This makes it possible to determine whether the design solution and its implementation meet the specified requirements.

In cooperation with our partners, we offer wind load simulation and assist in finding the optimal form for the structure being designed.

At MAURER, great importance is attached to comprehensive consultations, including at the design stage of the structure.

Consulting on:

• Selecting the optimal type of dynamic damper
• Calculating the minimum required mass ratio
• Designing the appropriate attachment to the structure

Inspection of materials and components is an important step for verifying finished products for functional fitness and freedom from defects prior to delivery to the customer.

The same applies, where necessary, to purchased components. Newly developed elements must in many cases also be tested to verify that the desired parameters are achieved.

In addition to supplying MAURER equipment, our company also provides technical supervision services for the installation of this equipment. Highly qualified engineers certified by MAURER Germany will ensure a high level of quality control during construction and installation works.

A MAURER representative supervises:

• Correct handling and transportation of products on the construction site
• Lifting of products to the installation location
• Level installation and correct pre-setting

MAURER offers construction services for its full product range. For example, for residential buildings we can install the isolators ourselves — from design development through to complete turnkey installation.

Regular inspections of our products in operational structures increase their service life, as they allow damage to be detected in a timely manner.

MAURER personnel are focused on comprehensive and timely detection of potential damage and its rectification at minimal cost to the client.

MAURER products have a long service life, despite the fact that most of our products operate under intensive use on a daily basis. In the area of repair work, we provide the following services:

• Inspections, design, and general services for bridge rehabilitation
• Repair of bearings and expansion joints of all types
• Bridge jacking and launching services, as well as full replacement of structural elements

MAURER provides comprehensive training services in the field of seismic isolation of buildings and structures. MAURER specialists conduct training sessions aimed at developing knowledge of seismic isolation technologies and skills for their application at construction sites.

The training programme includes:

• History and global practice of seismic isolation
• Classification of isolation systems and design principles
• Construction of buildings using isolation systems

Seminars are conducted by qualified specialists. Employees of KazNIISA are invited to participate.
